"The ceramic work of Maggie Jones showed a very confident, exuberant exploration of organic forms. The pieces were scaled up in a bold way, the use of color was well done and the twisting of the forms created a joyful movement to the forms." Robert Dunning juror Fall Celebration of the Arts

14"tall...this is the other side view from the drying photo above.

Molly is holding this up so you can see how big it is.

Handmade, stoneware pottery. Functional kitchen and dining pieces, decorative art pottery, vases, mantel clocks, wall pieces, large floor pieces and figurative sculptures. Nature is our main inspiration. Designs from the arts and crafts movement and art nouveau styles are often reference points for new ideas. We are located in the mountains of NC, Southeast of Asheville and North of Lake Lure. We work in a studio at our home. We also have a small house 5 miles away that we use for gallery space and Open House events. This is a Full House of Pottery. If you are in the area just give us a call. Take I-40 to Exit 73 at Old Fort. Go South for two and one-half miles and you will see our sign on the Right. Join my e-mail list and I will send news of Open House events. Our gallery location is 2782 Bat Cave Rd, 28762..this is NOT a postal address but for navigation purposes only. Our postal address and phone number is listed at the bottom of this page.
